GUIDED SURGERIES
Our clinic seeks the most modern means to offer safety and comfortable and successful procedures to patients. Guided surgeries - performed at the Odonto Luís Gustavo clinic - are the result of advances in imaging systems (such as tomography and scanners), planning software, 3D printers and other technologies.
Implants with guided surgery are more peaceful for the patient. The reason is simple: all surgical planning is done in a virtual 3D model of the patient's dental arch. In the software, by evaluating the patient's bone structure, gum thickness and other anatomical details, it is possible to accurately plan the future position of the teeth and how each implant should be precisely placed.
Guided surgery minimizes incisions (cuts with blades) and is indicated for several cases of total or partial missing teeth, and can be in a single or multiple implant.
Benefits:
Minimally invasive surgery.
Shorter surgery time.
High level of accuracy.
Greater comfort during and after treatment.
Quieter postoperative period, with less sensitivity and better healing.
Return to normal activities in less time.
DIGITAL FLOW DENTISTRY
Technology is one of our greatest allies for diagnoses and treatments. Unlike traditional flow, which uses more limited methods such as plaster casts and radiographs, digital flow uses the most advanced devices and methods in the field to obtain the best images and detailed information about the patient and their oral structure.
They are scanners, planning programs, virtual 3D demonstrations that offer a much improved view of the directions to be taken. Printed guides and the manufacture of prostheses in the laboratory using high-precision technology complete this true revolution in the dental office, which is already a reality at Odonto Luís Gustavo.
Since it is possible to better understand and plan each stage of treatment, any possibility of error or inaccuracy is minimized. The rates of accuracy, success and satisfaction only grow. This is technology improving jobs, lives and smiles.
SELF-LIGATING ORTHODONTICS
A striking feature of conventional orthodontic appliances are elastic ligatures, the famous colored rubbers, which connect the bracket – small pieces of metal glued to the teeth – to the wire or orthodontic arch to make the necessary movements, seeking to realign the dentition.
In self-ligating orthodontics, the brackets already have a small metal “cover” that has the function of attaching the wire to the pieces, without the need to put the rubbers or replace them during the treatment.
The self-ligating alternative, in addition to being efficient, can also save time, since the patient needs to go to the office less often to change the elastic bandages (which tend to loosen or fade over the days). Another positive point is the question of hygiene: without the rubbers attached to the brackets, cleaning the device is usually easier.
INVISIBLE ALIGNERS
Advances in orthodontics have solved the problems of those who need to correct the alignment of their teeth but do not want conventional fixed braces to appear while smiling. Invisible aligners - also called aligners - are one of the newest alternatives in orthodontics.
In this technique, acetate plates correct the position and alignment of the teeth. As the plates are transparent, the patient can maintain a more discreet look during the treatment period. The aligners are very aesthetically pleasing and with great results.
The orthodontist's evaluation may indicate whether the use of the technique is the most appropriate for each case or whether it should be combined with other methods so that the objective is achieved with satisfaction. In fact, for your health and safety, all treatment needs to be monitored and conducted by a professional specialized in the area.
LASER BRIGHTENING
Efficient teeth whitening techniques are available at the Odonto Luís Gustavo clinic. Laser whitening, for example, uses gel – formed by substances such as carbamide peroxide – which is applied to the external surface of the tooth and, when activated by a low-level laser, leads to tooth whitening. Laser treatment is safe as long as it is well indicated and performed, without the need for wear and weakening of the teeth.
Tooth whitening, when performed by a trained and conscientious professional, using appropriate techniques and products, does not pose any health risks. It is an agile and comfortable process, which does not require the use of trays on the teeth.
It is worth remembering that home whitening is also efficient, but it needs to be indicated and supervised by the dentist to avoid injuries and inflammation in the gums, sensitivity and stains on the teeth, among other problems. The accompaniment of a professional is always the best choice.
DENTAL MICROSCOPY
Expanded view for more accurate and quality work. This is microscopy - a resource that allows the dentist to see in much greater detail and clarity the anatomy of the teeth, roots, gums and other components of the patient's mouth, which allows for better diagnoses and even more successful procedures.
The technology of dental microscopes makes all the difference in specialties such as root canal and gum treatments and surgeries, dental implants, procedures related to the implantation of dental veneers (the well-known contact lenses) or even more routine activities such as caries removal.

DENTAL VENNERS
This kind of veneers are thin porcelain shells that cover the teeth - an aesthetic treatment option that corrects imperfections in the smile, such as worn, chipped, fractured teeth, with irregular formations, small gaps between one tooth and another and also stains.
Superfine veneers are non-invasive, minimal wear treatments that can profoundly change the appearance of your teeth. In the dental office, porcelain veneers are applied to the front of the patient's teeth. Despite being very thin, they are resistant, stick very well to the surface and most importantly: they give a very natural look, as they are made to measure for each patient, in addition to having the shape, dimensions and color adjusted accordingly. with the person's need.
At Odonto Luís Gustavo, dental veneers are entirely developed in digital flow. The patient's mouth undergoes a full scan. The images obtained and the complete documentation of the teeth - prepared by the dentist - are sent to the laboratory, which develops the 3D project, considering all aspects raised in the office. After patient approval, veneers with fully accurate fittings are produced in a 3D printer and subjected to milling techniques. Thus, the application is made to the patient's teeth with perfection.
